How to place a bet
All transactions are recorded on the blockchain and all bets are transparent to others on the XPR Network via the betxpr account and smart contract.
BetXPR provides a simple, intuitive and community centric way to bet on well known topics such as sports, politics, e-sport, crypto, … The process is fairly simple.
- You connect to the dApp with the WebAuth Wallet
- You find a bet that you like and select Place a bet button
- Choose your bet from the pre-defined selection
- Sign the transaction to confirm your bet with WebAuth Wallet
- All done! Wait for the results. You can place as many bets as you like!
How much does it cost?
For each bet that you place, 5% is taken by BetXPR as commission on the transfered amount.
How profits are distributed
When a bet poll is closed, the winners share the remaining 95% of losers side + their original stakes. For each winner, profits return to their balance stored in the contract
Balance can be withdrawn at any time from the dApp. Winners share the remaining 95% of the losers side plus their original stakes minus the 5% platform fees.
What if there is no loser ?
Lucky you, if there is no winner, you are refunded from your stake minus the platform fees.
